JEMTEC Selected by Nova Scotia to Provide Voice Verification Services

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 22, 2007) - JEMTEC (TSX VENTURE: - ; "JEMTEC" or the "Company"), the leading provider of integrated technology systems for community based corrections in Canada, has been selected to provide province wide Voice Verification services for the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. The initial agreement is for one year and the Department has options to renew the term of this Agreement for up to four (4) one year renewal periods. JEMTEC has provided Voice Verification technology in Canada since 2003 and monitored over 2,000 thousand community based corrections clients with this technology.

The Company is considered the most experienced provider of Voice Verification services in the Canadian Corrections market and provides a full range of offender management tools including Biometrics such as Voice Verification, as well as Radio Frequency, Passive and Active GPS and has two 24/7 event monitoring locations.

Established in 1981, JEMTEC holds exclusive rights for a variety of offender accountability solutions/technologies and is the leading provider of community offender monitoring solutions to Canadian Corrections.
