ROI Capital closes nine new investments

Centra Industries Inc.: Founded in 1974, Centra is a Tier I supplier ofstructural, wing and landing gear components in the aero-structures businessfor both commercial and military aircraft programs. Its customers includeBoeing, Spirit Aerospace, and Lockheed Martin. The company employs over 200employees in its 131,000 sq. ft. facility in Cambridge, Ontario. ROI Capitalfinancing assisted the company with capital restructuring and growth capital.

Gandi Innovations Limited: Established in April 2000, Gandi designs andmanufactures state-of-the-art, technologically advanced digital printers forthe large format printing industry. Gandi has three operating facilities withits head office in Mississauga, Ontario, and an international presence in theUnited States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, India, Belgium, theNetherlands, Poland and Dubai. ROI Capital provided financing for productdevelopment and growth.

Mold-Masters Group: Founded in 1963, Mold-Masters is the world's largestmanufacturer of proprietary hot runner systems and components for the plasticinjection molding industry. The company, headquartered in Georgetown, Ontario,serves customers in over 30 countries from its manufacturing facilities inCanada, the United States, Germany, Japan, China and Brazil. ROI Capitalfinancing assisted the company in its capital restructuring.

General Switch Gear and Controls Limited: Established in 1992, GS&Cdesigns and manufactures custom built electrical switchgear and numerous othercomponents for various industrial and utility customers. The company is asupplier to customers worldwide. At home it is a major supplier to Canadianutilities such as Hydro One Networks Inc., Manitoba Hydro, BC Hydro, and ATCOElectric. ROI Capital provided financing for growth.

Digital Specialty Chemicals Limited: Founded in 1987, DSC is anestablished custom manufacturer of chemicals such as phosphorus, boron,silicon and various organo-metallic chemicals. Located in a 40,000 sq. ft.facility in Scarborough, Ontario, the company serves the pharmaceutical,chemical, bio-technology and electrical industries worldwide. ROI Capital'sfinancing facilitated a management buy-out and provided the company withgrowth capital.

Distinctive Designs Furniture Inc.: Established in 1941, DistinctiveDesigns manufactures and distributes leather and fabric upholstered sofas,recliners, couches and other furniture accessories. The company's head officeemploys 180 people in a 29,000 sq. ft. facility in Toronto, Ontario. ROICapital's loan facilitated a capital restructuring and provided workingcapital.

Novo Plastics Engineering Inc.: Established in 2005, Novo Plastics Inc.is a fully integrated plastic injection molder and mold manufacturer, with afocus on serving large integrated Tier 1 and Tier II automotive suppliers. ROICapital provided mortgage financing for the purchase of the company'soperating facility.

AF-CAN Interlink Limited: Established in 2000, AFCAN is an exporter ofused clothing to the African sub-continent, South America and Asia. Thecompany has 160 employees and operates out of a 76,000 sq. ft. facility inBrampton, Ontario. ROI Capital's financing was used for working capital and toset-up of a second operating facility.

New Solutions Financial: Formed in 1999, NSF provides short to mediumterm, asset based financing for small and medium sized businesses. Thecompany, from its head office in Mississauga, Ontario, specializes in bridgefinancing, factoring programs, equity capital raises as well as financialadvisory and corporate finance services. ROI Capital's financing providedgrowth capital to the company.
