This Site:en.yinlu.net Source:en.yinlu.net Writer: Time:2007-11-23
VANCOUVER, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - StrataGold Corporation (SGV-TSX) is pleased toreport the continued expansion of gold zones at Tassawini, Guyana. StrataGoldhas received results for an additional 121 reverse circulation (RC) drillholes from Sonne North, South and Tassawini East zones. StrataGold completed atotal of 10,438 metres (m) of RC drilling in three hundred ten (310) holes todate in 2007. Assays are pending for eight (8) RC drill holes. These latestresults continue to demonstrate potential for a near surface saprolite golddeposit at Sonne North and South. Drilling targeted Induced Polarization (IP)chargeability features with associated gold geochemistry anomalies at SonneSouth, and defined areas of new mineralization associated with a majorstructure.

Sonne North

Highlights of the latest RC drilling results from Sonne North includeHole F1292, which intersected 1.19 g/t gold over 16.76m. This hole collaredand terminated in gold mineralization. Additional near surface goldmineralization in saprolite was identified in Holes F1215, F1293, 1295 and1296.

Quality Control and Assurance

A rigorous Quality Control and Assurance program (QC/QA) is in place, using control samples and duplicates, as well as Chain of Custody (COC)protocols, under the supervision of Bill Yeomans, P.Geo., StrataGold's GeneralManager Exploration, South America. Tamperproof sample bags with zip lock tagsare being utilized for all of the drill samples. The Tassawini samples wereprepared by ACME laboratories in Georgetown, Guyana, and analysed by ACMElaboratories in Santiago, Chile. ACME laboratories is a recognized as an ISO9000 registered laboratory. The control samples and duplicate assay resultsreceived for the drilling program demonstrated to StrataGold that the resultsare considered reliable. However, due to the rigorous nature of StrataGold'sQC/QA program, additional check assays will be conducted and these resultspending. All drill holes are being processed an ISO 9000 registeredlaboratory. The technical information in this news release has been preparedin accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements set out in NationalInstrument 43-101. Mr. Bill Yeomans is designated as the qualified personhaving reviewed this information.
