Anti-Fur Activists Descend on Beverly Hills on "the Busiest Shopping Day of the

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 22, 2007 -- Fur-Free Friday, the nearly 20-year-oldgrassroots event, will bring a large group of animal activiststo BeverlyHills to spread the message that people should not wearor buy fur.Demonstrators will march and chant to convey this messageduring "thebusiest shopping day of the year." The march will includea visit toNeiman Marcus, one of the country's largest luxury retailersof furgarments.

Protesters will carry posters and banners through the streetsof BeverlyHills and educate the public with anti-fur brochures. LCA'sAnimal NewsVan will accompany marchers while showing educational footageon videoscreens promoting cruelty-free fashion and educating furretailers andconsumers about the horrors of the fur trade.

Fur-Free Friday was organized originally in 1986 by grassrootsactivists;this holiday march has grown to be one of the most widelyattended annualdemonstrations of the animal rights movement. LCA spearheadsthe LosAngeles march.
