TRC Amends Its Offer for Broadcom Corporation

TRC also announced that it has extended its offer until12:01 a.m. New York City time on December 7, 2007, unlessfurther extended.

As of close of business on Wednesday, November 21, 2007,no shares had been tendered.

TRC will accept for payment and will pay for all sharesvalidly tendered prior to the expiration date and not properlywithdrawn in accordance with the terms of the offer. TRCwill not be required to accept for payment or pay for anyshares and may terminate the offer if certain conditionswhich, in the reasonable judgment of TRC in any such case,makes it inadvisable to proceed with the offer or with suchacceptance for payment or payment.

Stockholders of the Company who have already tendered theirshares and have not withdrawn such shares need not takeany additional action with respect to Purchaser's amendedtender offer. These stockholders will receive the decreasedoffer price of US$27.00 per share in TRC's tender offer.

TRC has amended its tender offer materials to reflect thedecreased offer price and other relevant changes.
