Metso to Supply Thermo-Mechanical Pulping Line to Ortviken Paper Mill in Sweden

The investment will lead to improved quality for coatedpapers, lower energy consumption, increased heat recoveryand greater pulp production. The delivery involves primaryrefining, separate reject refining and new screen room,as well as erection, start-up, training and commissioning.

The Ortviken paper mill produces newsprint and light weightcoated (LWC) paper. The total TMP capacity will be morethan 2,500 tonnes/day. Ortviken paper mill is a part ofSCA's Forest Products business area.
