In response to media reports, ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel company, today confirmed it is in talks with the controlling shareholders in China Oriental Group Limited (COGL) about future co-operation and including increasing its stake in the Company. ArcelorMittal currently holds a 28% equity stake in the Company.

No further announcements are planned at this time.
