Fitch Affirms 12 Classes from 2 Mellon Transactions

Mellon 1998-2:

--Class A at 'AAA'

--Class B1 at 'AAA'

--Class B2 at 'AAA'

--Class B3 at 'AAA'

--Class B4 at 'AAA'

--Class B5 at 'AA+'

Mellon 1999-TBC3:

--Class A at 'AAA'

--Class B1 at 'AAA'

--Class B2 at 'AAA'

--Class B3 at 'AA+'

--Class B4 at 'AA-'

--Class B5 at 'BBB+'

The affirmations, affecting approximately $57.1 million of the outstanding certificates, reflect the adequate relationship of credit enhancement (CE) to future loss expectations. As of the October 2007 distribution date, the transactions are 113 and 97 months seasoned and have pool factors (i.e. current mortgage loans outstanding as a percentage of the initial pool) of 0.5% and 27%. The pools have incurred no cumulative losses since inception and currently there are no delinquent loans.

The collateral of the above transactions consist of 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages (1998-2) and 30-year adjustable-rate mortgages (1999-TBC3) both secured by first liens extended to prime borrowers.
