"The third quarter was yet another strong quarter for OMX. Operatingincome rose by 34 percent compared with the year-earlier period. It isparticularly gratifying that profit, excluding capital gains, also increasedcompared with the second quarter of 2007, since the third quarter is normallya seasonally weaker quarter. In addition, it is highly positive that allbusiness areas contributed to the increase in earnings," says Magnus Bocker,President and CEO of OMX.
