This online educator came public in November at $20. It built a seven-week cup-without-handle base and broke out Jan. 17 (point 1).

It put in some wide swings over four of the next five weeks, an unsettling sign. But throughout this volatile period, this stock found support at its 10-week moving average, which was rising (point 2).

It climbed to a new high the week ended Feb. 23 (point 3) after finding support at its 10-week line.

Even then, volume never surged. In fact, average daily volume then was just 48,900, which put it in the thinly traded family.

Still, it formed a flat base through April 6 (point 4). Then it broke down the next week, also breaching its 10-week line (point 5).

But that line was reclaimed in just a few days (point 6).

The question to you: Was that a good point 15 buy?

The company had just put up earnings that accelerated in four quarters from 33% to 109%. Sales gained more than 20% in three of those periods.
