Precision Castparts CFO Sells Shares

NEW YORK (AP) -- The senior vice president and chief financial officer of Precision Castparts Corp. exercised options for 22,500 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Thursday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, William D. Larsson reported he exercised options for the shares Wednesday and Thursday for $47.84 to $70.79 apiece and then sold the same number of them the same days for $137.92 to $141.81 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Precision Castparts is based in Portland, Ore.
