Forrester Research 3Q Profit Increases

Net income for the three months ended Sept. 30 increased to $6.8 million, or 29 cents per share, from $6.3 million, or 27 cents per share, during the same period a year earlier. Excluding costs for stock options and other adjustments, the company said it earned 28 cents per share, compared with 26 cents per share in the year-ago period.

Revenue rose to $51.1 million from $44.1 million.

Shares rose $1.47, or 6.5 percent, to $24.14 in Tuesday morning trading. The stock has traded between $20.28 and $31.36 over the past year.
