Forest Oil Senior VP Exercises Options

NEW YORK (AP) -- The senior vice president of worldwide drilling for natural gas and crude oil producer Forest Oil Corp. exercised options for 13,424 shares of common stock, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings Monday.

In Form 4s filed with the SEC, Cecil N. Colwell reported exercising the options on Thursday for $16.85 to $20.60 apiece and then selling the same number of shares on the same day for $49.58 to $49.84 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Forest is based in Denver.
