Lynx Airlines Certification Delayed

The company did not specify the reason for the delay.
The Federal Aviation Authority requires new airlines to complete a certification process before they can begin flying. Lynx was initially expecting to be certified before Oct. 1.
Frontier Airlines, along with partners Republic Airways and Horizon Air, will handle the routes Lynx is scheduled to operate until the certification process is completed.
Frontier estimates pre-operating expenses for the quarter ending Dec. 31 will total $8 million.
