Acacia Research in Oracle Licensing Deal

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Acacia Research Corp., which develops and acquires patented technologies, said Tuesday one of its subsidiaries entered into a licensing agreement with Oracle Corp.

The agreement covers patents relating to portable storage devices with links.

The agreement with the subsidiary, called Disc Link Corp., resolves litigation pending in Texas, the company said.
