Acacia Unit in Licensing Deal With Kodak

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Acacia Research Corp., which develops and acquires patented technologies, said Wednesday one of its divisions signed a licensing deal with Eastman Kodak Co. to resolve litigation.

The agreement covers patents related to portable storage devices and links.

The deal with Acacia's Disc Link Corp. unit settles litigation pending in Texas related to certain Kodak products.
