CDW Average Daily Sales Up in August
The company reported $32.1 million in average daily sales for the month, compared with $27 million in August 2006. CDW's total sales for August were $738.8 million, compared with $620.2 million in the year-ago month.
Average daily sales in CDW's corporate sector segment grew 11.6 percent during the month, while average daily sales for the public sector segment increased 12.8 percent year-over-year.
CDW's year-over-year comparisons also benefited from the company's October 2006 acquisition of Berbee Information Networks Corp. Excluding Berbee revenue during August 2007, the company's average daily sales for the period grew 12 percent to $30.2 million and total sales increased to $694.8 million.
CDW shares added 1 cent to $86.24 in morning trading.
