Almaden Minerals Selects New CFO

Brown will replace Dione Bitzer who has served as CFO for Almaden since 2002. She will continue in her new role as controller.

Brown is the president and director of Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. During the mid-1990s, he was the controller for Mining Corp. and Eldorado Gold Corp.

Shares of Vancouver-based Almaden Minerals fell 8 cents, or 2.8 percent, to $2.82 in afternoon trading.
